Abstract

This study aims to determine “The Role of Dormitory Management in Instilling Religious Values Through Religious Activities in Santriwati at Al-Karimiyyah Islamic Boarding School Penujak Mouth Bodak Central Lombok. This study uses qualitative research methods because the data collected are words not numbers. To obtain the necessary data, researchers used data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Then to check the validity of the data is done through triangulation. In this study, the role of the dormitory administrator of the Al-Karimiyyah Islamic boarding school is to control and supervise the activities in the dormitory, to be the mediator between conflicts that occur in santriwati, and to make decisions to determine and decide on rules relating to santriwati. The religious values referred to in this study are values related to religious life. The religious values in question such as the value of worship, the value of faith or aqidah, the value of trust and sincerity, the value of morals and discipline and the value of exemplary. The last focus of this research is on religious activities that support the embedding of religious values to santriwati, such as routinizing santriwati congregational prayers, both fard prayers and sunnah prayers, tahsin and thfizhul qur'an activities, study of books and routine hadroh activities on Friday nights.
