Abstract

The STAD Type Cooperative Learning model is one type of cooperative learning that emphasizes activities and interactions between students to motivate and help each other in mastering learning materials to achieve maximum achievement. Departing from that, the purpose of this study is to find out about learning with the STAD Type Cooperative Learning model applied by Akidah Akhlak subject teachers in Class VII MTs Ishlaah Al-Ummah Batu Mulik. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The data sources in this study were informants consisting of Akidah Akhlak subject teachers, madrasah heads, and students. While the data analysis used is: analysis during data collection, data reduction and data presentation. To check the validity of the data, credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests were used. This research discusses: (1) STAD Type Coopertive Learning planning in Aqidah Akhlak subjects in the classroom begins with preparing a syllabus and making lesson plans developed from the syllabus and preparing several props/media to facilitate student understanding; (2) the implementation of STAD Type Coopertive Learning in Aqidah Akhlak subjects in the classroom includes initial, core and final (closing) activities; and (3) evaluation of STAD Type Coopertive Learning in Aqidah Akhlak subjects in the classroom using evaluation or authentic assessment in the form of tests, namely written and unwritten tests, written test evaluations in the form of questions that must be done by students and other skill tasks that use students' skill abilities, while unwritten tests are questions asked directly by the teacher during the lesson.
