One of the potentials being developed is their social-emotional development. Specifically, in the village of Tlogojati, there is a unique phenomenon occurring among early childhood children, which is the presence of children with dreadlocks. These dreadlocked children are part of the community, particularly in terms of their social-emotional development. This research aims to understand the social-emotional development of dreadlocked children, reveal the community's perceptions of the behavior of dreadlocked children, and identify the factors underlying the social-emotional behaviors of these children. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of phenomenological qualitative research. The data collection techniques used in this research include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that most children have achieved the basic social development indicators but are hindered in their ability to regulate emotions. Parents' perceptions of their children are closely related to their prior beliefs. The child's condition or environment becomes a factor in their development.</p>2025-09-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Al-Aminhttps://ejournal.staialamin.ac.id/index.php/paud/article/view/400The Implementation of Cultural and Civic Literacy for Early Childhood2025-09-04T08:51:00+00:00Anggunanggunar1223@gmail.comMaryonomaryono@unsiq.ac.idMuhtar Sofwan Hidayatmuhtarsh@unsiq.ac.id<p>In the era of globalization and the Industrial Revolution 4.0, literacy is not only limited to the ability to read and write, but also includes critical understanding of culture, citizenship, and social sensitivity. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with field research and data collection techniques using interviews, observations, and documentation. Additionally, data sources were obtained from research subjects, including the school principal, teachers or educators, and students of KB Shafiya Smart School in Wonosobo, with a total of seven children aged 4-5 years. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis that is inductive, which involves analyzing data obtained and subsequently developing specific patterns of relationships or hypotheses. Based on the hypotheses formulated from the data, further data is sought repeatedly to conclude whether the results can be accepted or rejected based on the collected data. If the data collected repeatedly through triangulation techniques supports the hypothesis, then the hypothesis develops into a theory. The research results indicate that: 1) the application of morning Quran Education Park (TPQ) learning at KB Shafiya Smart School in Wonosobo, where the ability to read and write the Quran is also an indicator of the quality of a Muslim's religious life. Therefore, the movement to read and write the Quran is a strategic step in improving the quality of Muslims and success in the field of religion, which includes activities such as Quran Morning habituation, Dhuha prayer, Friday charity, memorization of short surahs, daily prayer memorization, and memorization of hadiths. These habituation activities have been designed to enhance children's development, particularly in terms of religion and morality. With these habituation activities, the school hopes that the development of children's religious and moral values can be achieved effectively. 2) Supporting factors include the availability of adequate school facilities and infrastructure, good management of school activity programs, and support from various parties, including the school and the foundation, as well as cooperation between educators and the parents of students. Inhibiting factors include children's lack of focus during activities and insufficient support from parents, as they do not reinforce learning at home, which can hinder the development of religious and moral values in children through the morning TPQ program with Quran Morning habituation at KB Shafiya Smart School.</p>2025-09-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Al-Aminhttps://ejournal.staialamin.ac.id/index.php/paud/article/view/368The Principal's Role in Implementing the Merdeka Curriculum 2025-09-04T08:50:24+00:00Istiqomahistisaid2102@gmail.comSri Haryantosriharyanto@unsiq.ac.idMuhammad Saefullahmsaefullah687@gmail.com<p>This study aims to describe the role of the principal in implementing Merdeka Curriculum in PAUD units at Pelangi Nusantara 09 Wonosobo Kindergarten.
