The activity took place in the Vocabulary class at FKIP UIM Pamekasan, involving 29 students. The implementation followed a structured approach comprising socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation phases. The results revealed that while the students possessed a talent for creating illustrative teaching aids, they often lacked the opportunity to put this skill into practice. The activity demonstrated the students' enthusiasm for producing visual aids for classroom instruction; throughout the mentoring process, they grew increasingly confident and creative in their work. Ultimately, the training and mentoring program for creating teaching aids was successfully conducted in the FKIP UIM Pamekasan Vocabulary class.
2025-07-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Al-Aminhttps://ejournal.staialamin.ac.id/index.php/pengabdian/article/view/668Waste Management Education Through the Use of Eco-Enzymes at the Darunnasikah NW Pringgasela Islamic Boarding School2026-07-13T12:46:36+00:00Nishfiya Ramdoniatinishfiya14393@gmail.comAndri Afrianiandriafriani.aa@gmail.comHelmi Najamudinhelmy.najamudin94@gmail.com
Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that generate organic waste daily, primarily from kitchen and canteen activities as well as leftover food from students. Improperly managed organic waste leads to various negative impacts, such as environmental pollution, unpleasant odors, the proliferation of pathogenic microorganisms, the emission of methane gas (which contributes to global warming), and adverse effects on human health. Eco-enzyme is a liquid produced by fermenting organic waste—such as fruit peels and vegetable scraps—with a mixture of sugar and water over a period of approximately three months. The methodology employed in this community service activity comprised four stages: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, and 4) evaluation. The activity involved 15 participants, consisting of 10 students and 5 supervising teachers. The results indicate an improvement in the participants' knowledge and skills regarding organic waste management through the use of eco-enzymes, evidenced by the increase in average pre-test and post-test scores. Observations also showed that the participants actively engaged throughout the activity.
2025-07-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Al-Aminhttps://ejournal.staialamin.ac.id/index.php/pengabdian/article/view/696Assistant for Wudhu Procedures at SDN 1 Jelantik2026-07-29T15:47:06+00:00Shahibul Ardhiardhiibrohim15@gmail.comHusaen Sudrajathusaen.sudrajat@gmail.comSuci Handayanihandayanisuci99@gmail.com
Ablution (wudhu) is a valid condition for prayer that must be mastered by every Muslim from an early age, yet many elementary school students still lack a proper understanding of its pillars and correct procedure. This community service activity aimed to provide guidance on the correct procedure of ablution for students of SDN 1 Jelantik as an effort to strengthen early worship education. The activity was carried out in April 2026 at the mushala (prayer hall) of SDN 1 Jelantik, involving lower- and upper-grade students in stages. The implementation method combined socialization, demonstration, and direct practice (learning by doing), consisting of four stages: preparation, material socialization, guided practice, and evaluation. The results showed an improvement in students' understanding and skills in reciting the intention, performing the pillars of ablution in the correct order, and reciting the prayer after ablution. Students demonstrated high enthusiasm throughout the mentoring process. This activity is expected to continue through routine habituation at school so that students' awareness of worship becomes stronger and instilled from an early age.
2025-07-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Al-Aminhttps://ejournal.staialamin.ac.id/index.php/pengabdian/article/view/558The Role of the Arabic Tajwid Class (ATC) Program in Improving the Understanding and Reading Skills of the Qur’an Among Students at the Roudlotul Nurul Amin TPQ in Majaran Village2026-01-02T06:29:07+00:00Alda Novian Anamaldaanam.02@gmail.comAmrin Keliataamrinkheliata@gmail.comLaila Zahrotun Nisalailazhrtnnisa@gmail.comMunirotul Fuadmuniratulfuad@gmail.comNazwa Putri Utamin937301@gmail.comNur Zahro Zakiyahturrohmahnurzahro508@gmail.comMiftahulfadlik Dabamonamiftahulfadlik@iainsorong.ac.idRabiudin Rabiudinrabiudin27@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze the role of the Arabic Tajwid Class (ATC) program in improving students' understanding of tajwid and Quranic recitation skills at the Roudlotul Nurul Amin Islamic Boarding School (TPQ) in Majaran Village. Using descriptive qualitative methods through observation, interviews, documentation, and direct researcher involvement, the study found that students initially experienced difficulties in reading the Quran, pronouncing letters, and reading rules of tajwid. ATC was implemented in stages through pronunciation practice, repetition, reading examples, and interaction-based material reinforcement, along with the introduction of simple vocabulary. The results showed that students' ability to apply the rules of tajwid significantly improved, followed by an increased understanding of the rules of tajwid. Supporting factors for the program's success included organized materials, additional study time, and support from teachers. While inhibiting factors included differences in students' basic abilities and limited study time. Overall, ATC proved effective in improving students' understanding of tajwid and the quality of Quranic recitation and was effective as a learning companion program.
2025-07-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Al-Aminhttps://ejournal.staialamin.ac.id/index.php/pengabdian/article/view/701Strengthening Knowledge and Skills in Funeral Rites Management among PKK Women in Cantelan Hamlet, RW 06, Ketandan Village, North Klaten District2026-08-16T13:31:16+00:00Ibni Hibatulloh Fadlurrohmanibnihibatulloh767@gmail.comIntan Aulia Salsabilaintan.salsa0312@gmail.comAgung Rofiantointan.salsa0312@gmail.comMahiyb Ahyasintan.salsa0312@gmail.comSelvi Agustinaintan.salsa0312@gmail.comShofia Majida Khoirulmunaintan.salsa0312@gmail.comHusni Zainum Muttaqinintan.salsa0312@gmail.comNilam Febrina Swastikaintan.salsa0312@gmail.comAdriana Meiza Hapsariintan.salsa0312@gmail.comIka Nur Pujiastutiintan.salsa0312@gmail.comFidlila Naimatus Salsabilaintan.salsa0312@gmail.comHubbi Hulwatal Maulayaintan.salsa0312@gmail.com
The management of corpse care is a communal religious obligation that ideally should be mastered by all members of the community. However, in Dusun Cantelan RW 06, Ketandan Village, North Klaten District, this practice still relies on a small number of experienced individuals, particularly in the handling of female corpses. This community service activity aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and confidence of local women's community groups so that they are able to actively participate in the process of corpse management in accordance with Islamic law. The activity was conducted on July 23, 2026, at Baiturrahman Mosque, involving 23 participants, including local women, community facilitators, and university community service students. The methods used included lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and discussions. The results showed that participants not only understood the stages of washing, shrouding, and performing the funeral prayer for the deceased, but also began to develop the confidence to attempt the practice independently. This activity serves as an initial step toward reducing the community's dependence on specific individuals while encouraging the formation of local cadres who are prepared to support the sustainability of corpse management practices in the future.
2025-07-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Al-Aminhttps://ejournal.staialamin.ac.id/index.php/pengabdian/article/view/709Education on the Safe and Proper Use of Medications to Improve the Community’s Knowledge of Self-Medication in Berinding Village2026-08-19T14:02:40+00:00Alfia Rizki Zulianaeryonarosyida@ummat.ac.idEryona Azizun Rosyidaeryonarosyida@ummat.ac.idAliya Dahmawantieryonarosyida@ummat.ac.idGiska Febriana Safitrieryonarosyida@ummat.ac.idErika Aprilia Putrieryonarosyida@ummat.ac.idNesya Purmieryonarosyida@ummat.ac.idAqilla Sabrinaeryonarosyida@ummat.ac.idBaiq Mariana Puspita Wardanieryonarosyida@ummat.ac.idRani Putri Sejahteraeryonarosyida@ummat.ac.idPutra Dodi Maulanaeryonarosyida@ummat.ac.idLalu Adrian Saputraeryonarosyida@ummat.ac.idMuh Ari Hamzanieryonarosyida@ummat.ac.idEko Arya Juliyantoeryonarosyida@ummat.ac.idLalu Rama Pranata Kusumaeryonarosyida@ummat.ac.idPutra Pangeran Baharieryonarosyida@ummat.ac.idAriadineryonarosyida@ummat.ac.id
Self-medication is the practice of treating minor illnesses or health complaints using non-prescription medicines. While convenient and efficient, self-medication undertaken without adequate knowledge can lead to errors in drug selection, dosage, administration, storage, and disposal, as well as delays in seeking professional medical help. This educational outreach activity aimed to enhance public knowledge regarding the safe, appropriate, and responsible use of medicines. The event was held at the Berinding Village Office in Kopang District as part of the Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) of Group 34, Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram. A total of 28 participants, comprising adult and elderly community members, attended the session. The program included an initial pre-test assessment, an interactive presentation, a Q&A session, and a final post-test. The material covered the benefits and risks of self-medication, principles of proper medication use, the DAGUSIBU method (a national guideline for obtaining, using, storing, and disposing of medicines), rational antibiotic use, and warning signs requiring professional medical attention. The participants' average score significantly improved from 52.50 on the pre-test to 91.07 on the post-test. This substantial increase demonstrates a clear enhancement in medication literacy following the intervention, representing a crucial first step toward fostering rational drug use within the community.
2025-07-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Al-Amin
