Mistakes in pausing or beginning the recitation can lead to shifts in meaning that affect the reader's understanding. Through a literature study approach, this research explores the definitions, legal basis, and classifications of waqf and ibtida’ according to classical and contemporary qira’ah scholars. Data was obtained from tajwid books, qira’ah literature, and relevant academic references. The results show that proper application of waqf and ibtida’ not only helps improve the quality of tilawah, but also preserves the continuity of the verses’ meanings so they are not interrupted or misinterpreted. Correct understanding of waqf signs in the mushaf also aids the qari in determining reading pauses. Therefore, mastery of the knowledge of waqf and ibtida’ is an essential part of performing the Qur'an recitation in a tartil manner, with precise meaning, and in accordance with the guidance of scholars.
2025-12-21T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Amin https://ejournal.staialamin.ac.id/index.php/pgmi/article/view/567 Strategy for Internalizing Religious Values Through the Subject of Faith and Morals in Shaping Student Discipline at MI NW Anjani 2026-01-01T09:44:14+00:00 Hilman hilm4n69@gmail.com
Education is not only aimed at developing students’ intellectual intelligence but also at shaping their character. In practice, Indonesia still faces various moral problems, such as increasing deviant behaviors, violations of school rules, low discipline, and declining politeness among students. Previous studies have emphasized the importance of character education based on religious values; however, few studies have specifically examined the strategies used by teachers to internalize religious values in shaping students’ disciplinary character. This gap becomes the focus of the present study. This study employed a qualitative descriptive case study method with a field research approach conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdlatul Wathan (MI NW) Anjani. Data were collected through participant observation, structured interviews, and documentation, while data analysis followed Miles and Huberman’s model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Akidah Akhlak teachers implement strategies for internalizing religious values through several approaches, including habit formation, exemplary behavior, embedding values in lesson materials, positive reinforcement and rewards, as well as corrective guidance and educational sanctions. Supporting factors for the success of these strategies include the active role of teachers as role models, curricula that integrate religious values, a religious school environment, and collaboration with parents. In contrast, limiting factors include insufficient facilities and infrastructure and lack of parental support. In conclusion, the internalization of religious values through Akidah Akhlak lessons effectively shapes students’ disciplinary character, provided it is supported by exemplary teachers, a conducive school environment, and parental involvement. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of a holistic approach to character education, combining academic learning with religious values consistently both at school and at home.
2025-12-24T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://ejournal.staialamin.ac.id/index.php/pgmi/article/view/572 Early Childhood Learning Assessment 2026-01-04T17:07:25+00:00 Aili Erisa ailierisa871@gmail.com Ghina Yunita ghinayunita604@gmail.com Silvia Ramadhani Arsa ailierisa871@gmail.com Nurul Aulia Kuswari Lubis nurulaulialubis201@gmail.com Nala Muthia nalamuthia3011@gmail.com Ampun Bantali ampun.bantali@gmail.com
This study aims to describe the implementation of early childhood learning evaluation through a literature review of books, scholarly articles, and official PAUD assessment guidelines. The findings indicate that effective evaluation must utilize authentic assessment methods such as observation, anecdotal records, portfolios, and performance assessments to obtain a comprehensive picture of children's development. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, including teachers’ administrative workload, limited evaluation competence, parents’ perceptions that are not aligned with PAUD principles, non-standardized assessment instruments, and insufficient time for proper observation. This study emphasizes the need for improved teacher training, streamlined administrative processes, and strengthened collaboration with parents to ensure that PAUD learning evaluation becomes more optimal and development-oriented.
2026-01-12T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Amin https://ejournal.staialamin.ac.id/index.php/pgmi/article/view/579 Implementation of Physical Education Learning Through Rhythmic Gymnastics and Games at Muhammadiyah 11 Private Elementary School in Medan 2026-01-17T03:06:10+00:00 Suyono suyono20yon@gmail.com Mutia Ulfa mutulfa0306@gmail.com Aisah Anggriani Butar-Butar aisahanggrianibutarbutar@gmail.com Hafizotul Husna hafizotulhusna30@gmail.com Nur Adilah Nasution adilahnasutionnur@gmail.com
This study aims to describe the implementation of physical education learning through gymnastics and games at SD Swasta Muhammadiyah 11 Medan. The research employed a qualitative approach using a single case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving teachers, school leaders, students, and parents. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum has been carried out gradually and systematically by integrating the Pancasila Student Profile with Islamic values, such as faith (tauhid), moral character (akhlak), and Qur’anic memorization. Project-Based Learning (P5) was implemented contextually and contributed to increased student engagement and character development. Supporting factors included teacher training, school leadership commitment, and adequate infrastructure, while constraints were limited funding, varying levels of parental involvement, and teachers’ adaptation in designing contextual learning modules. This study concludes that the Merdeka Curriculum can strengthen Islamic education when implemented flexibly and contextually. The findings contribute theoretically to curriculum implementation studies in Islamic education and practically offer recommendations for Islamic schools in adapting national curriculum reforms.
2025-12-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://ejournal.staialamin.ac.id/index.php/pgmi/article/view/594 The Relationship between Father Involvement and Psychological Well-Being in Adolescents at MAN 1 Padang 2026-02-10T04:45:42+00:00 Tasya Maharini tasyamaharini29@gmail.com Mardenny tasyamaharini29@gmail.com Dewi Fitriana tasyamaharini29@gmail.com
Psychological well-being is an important indicator in adolescent development because it is related to an individual's ability to accept themselves, establish positive relationships, have life goals, and manage developmental pressures adaptively.
