The Implementation of Tahsin Al-Qur'an Method in Improving Al-Qur'an Literacy

Abstract
The Qur'an tahsin method is one of the programs to improve the Qur'an literacy of students at Darul Aman Islamic Boarding School, because increasing the Qur'an literacy of students is one of the goals of researchers to be more perfect in completing researcher scripts. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Tahsin Al-Qur'an Method to Improve Al-Qur'an Literacy at Darul Aman Islamic Boarding School, and the obstacles in Tahsin Al-Qur'an to Improve Al-Qur'an Literacy at Darul Aman Islamic Boarding School Selagalas Mataram City. This research uses a qualitative approach, with data collection methods, field observations, interviews, and documentation studies. As for the analysis, the author uses descriptive analysis which aims to explain the characteristics and aspects relevant to the observed phenomenon. The results showed the implementation of the application of the Tahsin Al-Qur'an Method to Improve Al-Qur'an Literacy at Darul Aman Islamic Boarding School in Selagalas, Mataram City as follows: (a) The Tahsin Al-Qur'an method to improve Qur'an literacy aims to deepen the theory and practice of the application of the Qur'an related to tajweed, shifatul huruf, makharijul huruf, gharibul Qur'an and also learning songs to sing the recitation of the Qur'an, (b) Increase the love of female santri towards the divine Kalam, namely the Qur'an. As for the obstacles in tahsin al-qur'an at Pondok Pesantren Darul Aman Selagalas Mataram City include: (a) Lack of understanding of the purpose of the Tahsin Method, (b) Lack of awareness of santriwati that the Tahsin Method is important.
