Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of applying the takrir method in strengthening the memorisation of the Qur'an, to find out how the results of the application of the takrir method in strengthening the memorisation of the Qur'an and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of applying the takrir method in strengthening the memorisation of the Qur'an of santriwati at Darul Aman Islamic Boarding School. This research is descriptive qualitative, which is research that aims to reveal a problem or situation or event. This research is a field research that aims to find out and describe how the application of the Takrir Method in strengthening the memorisation of the Qur'an of female santri at Darul Aman Islamic Boarding School. The location of this research is Darul Aman Islamic Boarding School Foundation, Tegal, Selagalas. The data collection procedure used by researchers is by 3 ways: observation, interview and documentation. The results of the research that can be concluded are the application of the takrir method in strengthening the memorisation of the Qur'an of the female santri of the Darul Aman Islamic Boarding School is very effective, through five techniques, namely, takrir techniques together, takrir alone, takrir in front of the teacher, takrir in prayer, while the results of applying this Takrir Method are that it can significantly improve the quality of the students' memorisation, can maintain memorisation becomes easier, both to maintain new memorisation and old memorisation. Because it is accustomed to reciting repeatedly with a routine and scheduled, as well as the quality of the students' memorisation.
