Abstract

Curriculum change is part of the educational dynamics aimed at adjusting to the needs of the times. This study aims to: (1) Explain how the transition from the 2013 Curriculum to the Merdeka Curriculum is implemented in learning at TK Pelangi Nusantara; (2) Identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the transition process. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the new curriculum provided more flexible, differentiated, and interest-based learning for children. Supporting factors include teacher enthusiasm, training from the education department, and positive responses from students. Meanwhile, obstacles are found in the complexity of administrative tasks and the limited understanding of teachers in applying the new curriculum principles.
