Efektivitas Metode Qawaid wa Tarjama dalam Pengajaran Bahasa Arab di Lingkungan Pesantren: Studi Kasus Universitas Annuqayah

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode Qawaid wa Tarjama (tata bahasa dan terjemahan) dalam pengajaran Bahasa Arab di lingkungan pesantren, dengan studi kasus di Universitas Annuqayah. Metode Qawaid wa Tarjama merupakan pendekatan tradisional yang berfokus pada analisis tata bahasa dan penerjemahan teks untuk membangun pemahaman bahasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berupa observasi kelas langsung, wawancara dengan dosen dan mahasiswa, serta analisis dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman tata bahasa dan memperkaya kosakata mahasiswa. Namun, kelemahan utama metode ini adalah kurangnya pengembangan keterampilan komunikasi lisan. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Qawaid wa Tarjama tetap relevan dalam konteks pesantren, namun perlu dikombinasikan dengan metode lain yang lebih komunikatif untuk mencapai pembelajaran Bahasa Arab yang lebih seimbang dan komprehensif.
